Dear Travel Journal,
We rode on a plane. We got to Antigua. We unpacked and went to find people we knew. We saw lots of palm trees with coconuts. It is very hot.

Dear Travel Journal,
I went to a wedding. Tricia got married. I thought the wedding was great! We went to Rose’s village so the ladies could get their hair done. I went swimming in the Caribbean Sea with my clothes on.

Dear Travel Journal,
I went fishing. The whole group went to one of Rose’s favorite beaches “Turner’s Beach”. The water was a pretty color aqua. We saw 2 dogs at the beach. We had a beach party Turner’s Beach. I practiced using my mask and snorkel. I saw a fish under the water. There was a big thunderstorm late at night.

Dear Travel Journal,
I got a ride on a jet ski. My mom drove it. She wicked, wicked, wicked fast. I got splashed with water. I went swimming in the pool in the afternoon. I swam without holding my nose.

Dear Travel Journal,
We went on a tour just mom and I. We saw lots of cows, sheep, goats, and chickens. We saw mangos, banana, orange, papaya, breadfruit, and pear trees. We saw a pineapple farm. Then we went to Turner’s Beach. My friend, Skip, found a giant star fish in deep water. He showed it to me. We took the bus into town to eat supper. The stores were closed. The streets and sidewalks are different than at my home. My mom didn’t want to rent a car because they drive on the left side of the road.

Today we went on a giant Catamaran sailboat. We went around the whole island. Mom took lots of pictures. I went snorkeling with mom. There were lots of fish. It was a little scary. I had fun with Maddie, Malcom, and Derek. Some people saw some sharks eating fish. I saw pelicans eating fish.

Today I played at the pool and the beach. Rose’s nephew, Naji, played with me at the beach. We found lots of hermit crabs and shells.

Dear Travel Journal,
Well, today is sad, it is time to go home and say goodbye to Antigua. We pack our bags and go to the beach for breakfast. I played in the pool for a little while. We went to the airport and saw a few people we knew leaving to go home as well. They had sugar canes and let me try a few. They were really good. Well, anyways, we took the plane home.
