Dear Travel Journal,
Today Mommy and I flew from Boston to Aruba. The best thing I ate was the crab sushi at dinner from the seafood restaurant at the other part of the hotel [Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino]. The coolest thing I saw were the huge, green iguanas that were everywhere and the crabs by the beach. Something that made me laugh was looking at the creepy pigeons with the circle around the eyes. My favorite part of the day was finally arriving in Aruba!

Dear Travel Journal,
Today Mommy and I woke up to a nice sunny day in Aruba. The best thing I ate was the chicken wings from room service. The coolest thing I saw were the flamingos, even though I was a little scared. Something that made me laugh was my mom trying to be brave, but then running away from the flamingos. I also thought it was funny when Mommy fell in the hallway when she tried to race me with my piña colada. My favorite part of the day was playing at the beach and in the water with two kids that I met their. I didn’t even need floaties!

Dear Travel Journal,
Today is my BIRTHDAY! I turn 6 today! Mommy had a special day planned. The best thing I ate was the shrimp and crab sushi. I really wanted seafood again, so we went back to the seafood restaurant for dinner. The coolest thing I saw were blue-tailed lizard while we were horseback riding through Arikok National Park to the natural pool. S0mething that made me laugh was was seeing the horse poop green. Also the guide said most people in Aruba are related and I thought that was funny too. My favorite part of the day was going horseback riding. Even though I was scared at first, I’m glad I went. I want to go horseback riding again!

Dear Travel Journal,
Today was our last full day in Aruba. The best thing I ate was the native food of the island that was served on the catamaran boat ride. The coolest thing I saw was a pirate ship! It wasn’t a real pirate ship, but it was still cool. I asked Mommy if we could go on that boat next time. Something that made me laugh was when my mom spilled her drink on the boat and the ice went rolling. My favorite part of the day was going on the catamaran sunset cruise.

Dear Travel Journal,
Today was the day we went home. Mommy and I flew back to Boston. The best thing I ate was left over chicken wings from room service and some spaghetti from dinner a few nights earlier. The coolest thing I saw were airplanes taking off and zooming into the sky. Something that made me laugh was Mommy sleeping on the airplane while I stayed up watching in-flight movies. My favorite part of the day was coming home to open my birthday present, which was a Wolverine action figure.
